Display Name: Watersheds with Chloride Impairments 2020
Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><DIV STYLE="font-size:12pt"><P><SPAN>Watersheds clipped to the state border for assessment unit IDs (AUID) that have been assessed as impaired due to excess chloride in the 2016 305(b)/303(d). AUIDs are nearly synonymous with waterbody IDs (WBIDs) in that WBIDs are continuously updated whereas AUIDs are a version of the features tied to a particular Clean Water Act assessment cycle. AUIDs are the basic unit of record for conducting and reporting water quality assessments to EPA. All assessment units are based on 1:24,000 scale hydrography linked to the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD); the national coverage used by EPA. The 2020 AUIDs were the basis for the delineations in this file. Watersheds were delineated using a10m DEM that had been burned with the 24k NHHD and catchment walled. After automated delineation, watershed received a visual evaluation for reliability</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>
